Blondes Mean Business

With Summer around the corner, it’s time to lighten up! Whether blonde at the root or blonde at heart, blondes are serious about their color, and are willing to pay to keep their hair healthy and looking great. From maintaining the integrity of the hair, to a myriad of blonding services to at home care, blondes mean big business for the salon. Take a fresh look at your blonding service menu to attract new clients and indulge the existing ones!

Strengthen the Bond

The lightening process causes chemical damage, and those strands are much more prone to breakage. What blonde would turn down the chance to save and improve the integrity of her hair? Many bond repair services have come on the market in recent years and the best are available at CosmoProf®.

The Blonde Spectrum

From a sun-kissed look to platinum blonde and everything in between – there is a wide range of services to offer at varying price points to have a successful blonding business this season. Consultation is key. Making a brunette blonde is a transformation, and the time and expertise to achieve this should be charged for accordingly. Make sure the client understands the maintenance required for her desired look. She may need to come in every 3-4 weeks to address new growth, or every 5-6 weeks for a retouch or refresh.

At Home Care

The same season to go blonde is the same time at home maintenance needs are at their peak. Chemicals used during the lightening process leave the hair susceptible to UV damage and color fading. Your professional recommendation is key to keeping your client happy until her next service and coming back to your salon. She just spent a lot of time and money at the salon to achieve her look. Explain you simply can’t let her wash it down the drain by using the wrong shampoo!
