1. Plug the straightening iron into a standard electrical outlet. Press the button to switch the iron on.
2. The iron will automatically heat up to 265°F. Once it’s reached this temperature, the digital display will remain at 265°F.
   • NOTE: There may be a slight buzzing sound from the ionic port as it releases the ions. This is normal.
3. Use the temperature buttons (+/-) to select the preferred temperature. There are 10 temperature settings to select from (265°F–450°F) for styling various hair types.
4. Always start with a lower temperature and increase gradually if required.
5. Once the preferred temperature has been selected, the digital display will flash 3 times and start heating up. When the chosen temperature has been reached, the iron is ready for use.
6. After use, press the button to switch off and unplug the iron.
7. Allow the iron to cool down fully before storing.
8. This iron is designed with a 60 minute shutoff. This option can be turned on or off using the slide switch on the bottom of the iron, near the hinge.
