1. For faster results, towel dry hair to remove excess water, then run a comb through damp hair to detangle for best results.
2. Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet.
3. To turn unit on, place fingers around the temperature control dial and rotate counterclockwise to the desired setting. Adjust the switch to the selected setting. Use the LOW setting on fine or thin hair and the HIGH setting on thick and coarse hair. Use the COOL setting to lock in the style.
4. Start styling. Separate hair into manageable sections.

Operating Instructions:

1. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to force the plug into an improper outlet.

Changing the Brush Attachments:

1. To change a brush attachment, turn the styler off, unplug the appliance and allow it to fully cool.
2. Press the release button down and slightly twist to the right to unlock handle as you pull the attachment away from the body of the appliance.
3. Align the new attachment with the handle and insert it with a slight twist to the left to lock the attachment.

Styling Tips:

1. Use the Blowout Volumizer attachment, place the dryer close to the roots and brush down toward the ends. The mix of nylon bristles with rounded tips detangle hair fast while the Boartech 2TM and the Refresh3 MaxTM activated charcoal gently softens and gives it shine.
2. For extra lift at the roots, hold the dryer for 2 to 3 seconds under the roots.
3. To curl ends IN, place the dryer UNDER the ends and hold for 2 to 3 seconds before rotating inward. To curl ends OUT, place the dryer OVER the ends and hold for 2 to 3 seconds before rotating outward.
4. When drying is complete, wait for the dryer to cool before storing. Do not wrap the cord around the dryer.
5. Wait for the dryer to cool before removing the attachments and storing. Do not wrap the cord around the dryer.

User Maintenance Instructions:

1. This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that may cycle OFF or cause the heaters to turn off if the temperature exceeds comfort level due to partially blocked air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the appliance stops or releases only cool air during use, turn off the switches and allow the appliance to cool down, at which time the thermostat will automatically reset. During use, DO NOT block the air openings. When using this appliance near water (e.g., bathrooms), the use of an electrical outlet protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter is recommended.
