1. Plug the appliance into a standard electrical outlet (120–240V). 2. Button controls for 5 temperature settings:

2. Section hair evenly, and comb each section before winding. Wind the hair around the iron as far up as you want it to be curled, being careful not to let the iron touch the scalp.
3. Refer to the Super Styling Guide for techniques. Hold hair in place for 8 to 12 seconds.
4. To remove curling iron, unwind the hair. To set the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools.
5. Some experimenting is necessary when first using the curling iron or when changing to a different hairstyle.
