The Flame Coarse is a diamond-cut drill bit engineered for Russian style and dry manicure work. With its coarse grit, it safely lifts the eponychium (nail fold) to expose and remove cuticle on the nail plate without damaging skin or plate. It’s ideal for removing excess skin, opening sidewalls, handling hangnails, and even sealing the cuticle area after product application. The standard 3/32" shank ensures compatibility with all professional nail e-files.

1. First, prep the nail by pushing back cuticles, removing surface shine, and cleansing thoroughly.
2. Using a nail drill with a secure 3/32" collet, insert the Flame Coarse bit and set the speed to low or moderate.
3. Gently work the bit under the eponychium and around sidewalls or backwalls to lift and remove cuticle or excess skin, being careful not to press too hard.
4. Once the area is clean and smooth, you may use the bit again after product application to clean and seal the cuticle if required.
5. After use, clean off debris, disinfect according to your salon’s protocols, dry the bit completely, and store safely.
